Cephalopods

(octopus, cuttlefish, squid …)

Frozen

Cephalopods are Morocco's premium export strength alongside canned sardine, led by demand from Spain, Italy and Japan.

Octopus is trap- and trawl-caught off Dakhla, Agadir and Laâyoune, cleaned and graded T2 to T7, and packed as IQF flower pack or block. Cuttlefish and squid follow the same cold chain in tubes, rings and tentacles.
